Deposition Builder

This is a component that receives, analyzes, and integrates deposition toolpaths generated from a slicer component. Among the received data, it can separate and output them by purpose, such as extrusion start (E-Start), move, and extrusion end (E-End). Users can preview the alignment and layers of the deposition path.

Name Type Description
Deposition ToolPaths Data Deposition toolpath data generated from the slicer component.
Reference Plane Plane Reference plane for generating PreExtrusion paths.
PreExtrusion Curve Curve Pre-extrusion path curve to prepare the nozzle prior to extrusion start.
First Part Boolean Flag indicating whether the current Deposition ToolPath is the lowest (first) part. FALSE: Ignores PreExtrusion.

Required Parameter

Name Type Description
Infill First Toggle • TRUE: Applies deposition order in Infill → Shell sequence
• FALSE: Applies deposition order in Shell → Infill sequence
Layer by Layer Toggle Sets the processing order of Deposition ToolPaths for multiple objects.
• TRUE: Layer-by-layer deposition (sequentially processes the same layer across all objects).
• FALSE: Object-by-object deposition (sequentially processes all layers for each object).

Output

Name Type Description
E-Start Planes Plane Target planes at positions where the extrusion signal turns ON.
Movement Planes Plane Motion target planes of the deposition path.
E-End Planes Plane Target planes at positions where the extrusion signal turns OFF.
E-End idx Integer Position index of the extrusion end (E-End) targets within the entire Deposition ToolPaths collection. Used for data merging before and after assigning instructions to each target.
